Message from the Principal

It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the website of Army Medical College Bogura (AMCB), one of the most prestigious private medical colleges in Bangladesh, founded by the Bangladesh Army. AMCB was inaugurated on January 10th, 2015 and started its academic activities in the year 2014-2015, with the active inspiration of the Honorable Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina.

At AMCB, excellence is nurtured, pursued and celebrated. As a fully residential medical college, we strive to provide a family atmosphere to all our teachers, staffs and students. Studying medical science is a demanding and noble pursuit that requires devotion, labor, sincerity and an empathic attitude towards humanity. Since AMCB is fully patronized by the Bangladesh Army, we have a dedicated team of teachers and staffs who are always engaged in building the future doctors with discipline, sincerity and quality medical knowledge.

Our college has a unique architectural campus with an excellent academic atmosphere located at Bogura Cantonment. We are committed to providing top-class medical education to our undergraduate programs of MBBS, with the help of eminent and experienced teachers. We have an adequate number of teachers, unique infrastructure, well-organized departments and an enriched library. We also have high-standard separate hostels for male and female students, equipped with all modern amenities and security.

The college authority is dedicated to providing a congenial environment conducive to learning and building positive attributes so that our students can deliver their noble responsibility to the community in a befitting manner. We are always aware and active in adapting to the changing environment of the population, nature, and healthcare facilities, embracing and coping with the situation with spirit and innovation. We maintain discipline and dedication in studies while preaching moral and ethical values in medical practice. In addition to academic activities, our students have the opportunity to exercise their cultural, social and other extra-curricular performances.

AMCB is equipped with all kinds of modern teaching materials, IT facilities, laboratories, adequate numbers of galleries and classrooms. Our educational strategy is to create a quality teaching environment that provides current knowledge, modern skills, and technology in the field of medical education.
